What’s French for Oops?

What’s French for Oops?

She’s the nanny, he’s the boss, and this Paris apartment does not have enough bedrooms.

Jean has the perfect nannying job in London—her only complaint, a sexy stranger in a pub who doesn’t call her the next day.

Matt wants to give his kids every opportunity, so jumps at the chance to live abroad. Half-way through pitching the idea to his ex-wife, in comes the new nanny. Dancing with Jean was the most spontaneous thing he’s done since the night his son was conceived. And now he’s taking her to Paris… as his employee.

Jean doesn’t speak a word of French, but she’ll do anything to make the kids happy. Matt is used to making the rules, and having them followed. Stuck in a too-small apartment, they soon rub each other up the wrong way. But there’s no getting away from the sizzling attraction between them.

What could be the harm in giving in just once?

About the Book

“Whats French for a Great Read? Slow burn. This romance smouldered, and smouldered, and smouldered. Normally I hate long smouldering romances, but this one…boy this one is something else. I loved Jean, such a relatable female character, and a New Zealander to boot. Her dallying felt natural and her concerns real. I really liked Matt. No nonsense, knows what he wants and how to get it, except when it comes to love. A brilliant read for anyone who likes a good romantic yarn.” – Karen on Goodreads

This is a cracking read, with believable dialogue, some delightful wit and a sense of longing which pervades the pages to resolution. My favourite romance is Pride and Prejudice, and this contemporary work, complete with some very hot sex, reminds me of the depth and quality of that great romance. It’s hard not to like these very human characters with their strengths and stupidities and their honesty. I am looking forward to Ms Blythe’s next book.” – MB from Blasted Stump on Amazon

“The tension between Jean and Matt burns up the pages… my heart ached for them.” – Jordyn Kross

“A great fun read… a misunderstanding-laden romance… the growing attraction just keeps getting hotter and more awkward.” – Jill McCaw

Easy read but definitely found it hard to put down! Very lovable characters too.” – Amazon Customer

Wow. Can I just say that again? Wow. I really liked this book. The sexual tension between the NZ nanny, Jean, and British Matt-not-Mac was hot.” – E.B. Kreuger

“What’s French for Oops had me from the first page… a fun, fast-paced read, with lots of snappy dialogue, and the added bonus of being set mainly in Paris – a city the writer obviously knows well. Jean and Matt are great, believable characters, and the reader quickly gets swept up into their developing relationship. Highly recommended.” – VeraL on Goodreads

Loved this book – such a great holiday read.” – Margaret McEwing

I felt like I was transported into the world of Jean and Matt. Reading this book was such a wonderful escape!” – Debs on Goodreads
