Free Anthology!
A year-or-so ago, a group of my lovely writer friends, and I, put out an anthology of summer romances. Can I just quickly HIGHLY recommend this as a way to dip one’s toes into the pool of self-publishing?

It was great, actually. We read each other’s stories and had a little pizza party to celebrate going on pre-order. We proof-read and shared the load and learned from each other – and just generally learned. A LOT.
This definitely gave me have the confidence to publish – and helped me not to make so many silly mistakes.
Bonus, we made a great book. Every one of these stories is a total delight. All of them are summer romances, but talk about range! One of the great things about a collaboration like this is the variety.
The stories are set in a whole raft of different places, from a New Zealand hiking trail to a Mediterranean cruise. The writing styles vary and the characters are vastly different, coming from the imaginations of all these unique authors.
And it’s called Rising Heat because each story is a little hotter than the one before.
